CANCELATION, ILLNESS & UN-PLANNED ABSENCE
Whether your child gets sick, you decide to take a last-minute vacation, or something else comes up, our goal is to remain as flexible and understanding as we can. While we must retain 50% of the daily charge in order to ensure the continuance of our programs, we are happy to 'meet in the middle' and issue a credit or refund for the remaining 50% payment for any reserved but un-used days, provided you let us know about your child's absence before that day's drop-off time. However, if you fail to inform us of your child's absence in advance, we have no obligation to give the refund/credit.
INCLEMENT/EXTREME WEATHER
In the event local weather conditions make it unsafe or unwise for the children to be outdoors for large parts of the day (i.e. unusually extreme heat or cold, poor air quality, etc.) Vital Wild may need to implement an early pick-up schedule, or - in rare cases - cancel our daily offerings, potentially on short notice. If and when a decision is made to do so, it will NOT be taken lightly, and families who have reserved care for those days will receive a FULL refund/credit for any hours or entire days of care that must be canceled by Vital Wild due to weather.
STAFF ILLNESS/ABSENCE
We are a family-run organization and operate all our programs with a very limited staff. In the event that one of our staff members fall ill, we will do everything in our power to find a suitable replacement in our immediate community to take their place and keep the program open and running smoothly. If you know of anyone who may be able and willing to help out in a pinch, please don't hesitate to put us in touch!
